FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

East Peoria, IL — The Academy for the Advancement of Animal Chiropractic (AAAC) is proud to announce an exciting new chapter in our mission to promote and advance animal chiropractic care across the globe. As the largest online platform for continuing education in animal chiropractic, we have made significant strides in elevating the CE experience. However, we recognize that more can be done to fill gaps and provide additional support to animal chiropractors at all stages of their careers.

When our board first came together, our shared vision was to advance animal chiropractic—and that remains our primary focus. While we have successfully served chiropractors and veterinarians through top-tier continuing education, the growing needs of the profession have led us to a strategic redirection. We are now expanding beyond continuing education to provide comprehensive resources that guide practitioners through certification, the transition into practice, and beyond.

New Initiatives to Strengthen the Animal Chiropractic Community

Our renewed mission is to be more than a source of education; we aim to be a comprehensive partner for every stage of an animal chiropractor’s professional journey. We are launching several new initiatives to support this vision, including the introduction of our Advocate Program. For just $47 a month, members will receive exclusive access to resources, mentorship, and a network of fellow practitioners, ensuring ongoing growth and support throughout their careers. As part of this strategic redirection, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Rachel Wendt as our new Executive Director. Dr. Wendt brings a wealth of experience to the role and will be instrumental in overseeing day-to-day operations and assisting the board in advancing the organization’s vision. With her leadership, the Academy is better positioned to provide the guidance and support that animal chiropractors need to succeed.

“Our board has always been committed to advancing the field of animal chiropractic,” said Dr. Wendt. “This new chapter allows us to offer more than just education. We are focused on equipping practitioners with the tools they need to thrive, including mentorship, certification support, and resources for successful practice management.”

Luxury Continuing Education Events

True to our roots, the Academy will continue to offer quality continuing education opportunities in tropical and luxury destinations. These unique events provide certified chiropractors and veterinarians with the perfect venue to deepen their knowledge, collaborate with like-minded professionals, and advance the practice of animal chiropractic in a relaxed, inspiring environment.

“We’re excited about this strategic expansion,” said Dr. Karen Hannah, DC, CAVCA. “It’s not just about education anymore; it’s about equipping our community with the tools and support they need to thrive from certification to practice and beyond.”

We offer one of the largest continuing education databases available for animal chiropractors with courses approved by the AVCA, IVCA and RACE. As an Advocate, you will receive a $25 discount per CE.
